Logo Design
Logo Design
I believe logo design is crucial because it serves as the visual cornerstone of a brand's identity. Crafting a logo that is both unique and memorable is not just about creativity, but also about ensuring it effectively communicates the brand's values and resonates with its audience.

Logo design encompasses a broad scope that goes beyond merely creating a visually appealing mark. It involves a deep understanding of the brand's mission, values, and target audience to ensure the logo effectively communicates its essence. The process includes research, conceptualization, and iterative design to create a symbol that is both distinctive and versatile, working across various mediums and sizes.

The concept behind logo design is to create a visual representation that encapsulates a brand's core identity and values in a simple, memorable, and versatile form. This process involves distilling complex ideas into a concise symbol that can communicate the essence of the brand at a glance. It requires a thoughtful blend of creativity and strategic thinking, incorporating elements like color, typography, and imagery to evoke the desired emotional response and convey the brand's message. A successful logo not only stands out and is easily recognizable, but it also builds a strong connection with the audience, laying the foundation for brand loyalty and recognition.
Deb Does Hair
A client approached me with a request for a minimalist logo for their salon, specifically incorporating the image of shears. They wanted a design that was clean and modern, reflecting the salon's sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic. The client emphasized the importance of simplicity, asking for a logo that avoided unnecessary embellishments while still clearly representing the essence of their business. We discussed various styles and agreed on a monochromatic color scheme to maintain the minimalist feel.
Elevate Transitioning Servicemembers, Inc. (ETS)
Client requested for a logo for their nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting military veterans transitioning to the corporate world. The design needed to symbolize the transition from military service to a professional, corporate environment, reflecting the organization's mission to empower and guide veterans through this significant life change. We started by discussing the key values and mission of the organization, focusing on empowerment, professional development, and patriotism. The client wanted these themes to be subtly integrated into the logo. To achieve this, we explored various symbols that could represent both military service and the corporate world, while ensuring the design conveyed a sense of dignity and support.
After brainstorming and sketching several concepts, we decided to incorporate elements such as a stylized silhouette of a servicemember transitioning into a business professional. This concept would visually narrate the journey from military life to corporate success. The final design featured a triple-figure silhouette: from left, a servicemember in uniform, to a casual civilian, then to a corporate professional in a suit. These figures were seamlessly integrated, symbolizing the transition.
Views Services Group (VSG)
The founder of Views Service Group requested a logo that prominently features the first letters of their organization's name. They specified that the primary color for the logo should be hunter green. The client emphasized the importance of a clean, professional design that is both memorable and easily recognizable.
I started by experimenting with different typography styles to find the perfect balance between professionalism and visual appeal. I explored various fonts and compositions, ensuring that the letters would stand out while harmonizing well with the chosen hunter green color. The color provided a strong and distinctive brand identity, while the clean design ensured versatility across various marketing materials, including business cards, letterheads, and digital platforms.
